Begin your journey at the Thai border in Mae Sai, crossing into Tachileik, a vibrant
town that bridges cultures. Visit iconic temples, bustling markets, and scenic hilltop
pagodas that mirror Myanmar’s spiritual depth.
Ride or drive into the hills to reach Kengtung, surrounded by mountains and tribal
communities. Visit the old colonial town, explore vibrant local markets, and visit
nearby hilltribe villages where customs remain untouched by time
Continue westward to Namsang, a quiet highland settlement rarely visited by
tourists. This peaceful town offers sweeping vistas, a slower pace of life, and intimate
encounters with local traditions in their most authentic form.
We will spend a whole day here at the famous Inle Lake. Highlights are the floating
villages and the fishermen who steer the boats with only one leg!
